New Buses & Bike Racks Cedar Rapids Transit has purchased four, new heavy-duty, low-floor transit buses that will be used on its fixed-route bus service. In addition, bike racks have been installed on 85 percent of the bus fleet operated by Cedar Rapids Transit on its fixed-route bus service. The VeloPorter 2 bike racks, made in the USA by Sportsworks, accommodate two bicycles with tire widths up to three inches and wheel sizes from 16 to 19 inches. READ MORE>
